The Chianti Wine Photo Collection

The wine produced in the Chianti region of Italy is known throughout the world. Although many large producers dominate the market, an incredible number of smaller vineyards operate throughout the region, many of which open their doors to visitors and make their products available for tasting.

This collection of digital photographs were taken during our short wine tasting expedition and document some of the images.

	Many vineyards operate a nicely appointed tasting room.
	*This winery operates a small restaurant where you can sample their products while eating lunch.*
	*Most wineries are easily accessible via good roads.*
	Other wineries operate amid the vineyards, typically a little more difficult to reach.
	*Vineyards are usually operated in the mountains, so panoramas such as this are commonplace.*
	*Many vineyards grow roses at the end of each row of grapes as an "early warning" indicator of disease.*
