Shipping Policies And Information

We typically maintain an inventory of all of our standard selections. In stock merchandise will ship within one to two business days (Monday through Friday, excluding holidays) of receiving your order. Frequently, orders are shipped the very same day if received by noon Central time. Allow additional time for special orders.

All prices shown are exclusive of shipping and handling charges and possibly sales tax (only applicable to Illinois shipments) which will be added to your final bill.

Special Note For Residential Customers

We recommend that wherever possible you request your shipment be directed to a business address. Here's why:

  • It's faster -- deliveries to business addresses are typically done before residential deliveries.
  • It preserves the quality of what you ordered -- since business deliveries are a little faster and are typically delivered directly into an office, exposure to temperature extremes (see below) and inclement weather is reduced.
  • It's more secure -- since business deliveries are typically delivered into the care of an inside person who signs for it, the possibility of pilferage is virtually eliminated.

Please consider directing your order to your/your spouse's/a friend's business address. Our order forms allow you to specify virtually any destination name and address. Just be sure to specify the person's name and mark it "c/o Company Name" on address line 1.

Rest assured that should you still choose delivery to a residential address, your shipment is sent insured and in a trackable manner.

Weather Advisory

While we try our best to protect your shipment from weather extremes we cannot guarantee quality upon arrival at its destination. Severe heat or cold may jeopardize the stability of food products, for example chocolate products, and therefore expedited delivery service is recommended in such cases.

Address Problems, Missed/Refused Deliveries, Other Delivery Problems

We ship your order to the address that you give us. It is the customer's responsibility to specify both correct and complete information that includes apartment number, suite number, unit number, etc. as appropriate. Should the address be incomplete or incorrect, your shipment will be delayed and you will be responsible for all shipping charges. The determination of the delivery driver as to the deliverability of a package shall be final.

It is also the customer's responsibility to make himself available to receive a shipment. Failure to do so will cause a delay in the shipment and you will be responsible for all shipping charges if returned to us.

In the event that the contents of your shipment are damaged upon receipt, you must notify us within seven (7) days of receipt. Claims for damage received after that period will not be honored.

In the event that you do not receive a shipment, you must notify us within seven (7) days of the scheduled delivery. Failure to do so compromises our ability to locate the missing package, and as a result claims for a lost package reported after this period cannot be honored.


Most of our shipments are done using FedEx, with some shipments routed via the US Postal Service. We reserve the right to ship via the carrier of our choice. Typically, delivery is within 2-5 business days of placing your order, depending upon the destination location. Please note that you must supply a valid address. We will ship to a PO Box address, but please note that such shipments may be more expensive for shipments over 10 pounds.

Destinations in Alaska, Hawaii, and US Territories can take longer and carry an extra charge.

Although we can provide quicker service with expedited delivery service, the shipping charges will be considerably higher. You are permitted to choose expedited delivery service in the shopping cart.

International Destinations

We have partnered with Bongo International to service our customers world wide. You can learn moe about this service here.

In addition to all of the foregoing, the following considerations apply to international shipments:

We are responsible for the delivery of the order to the Bongo US warehouse. Once delivered to that warehouse, our responsibility for any loss or damage ends. Delivery to the Bongo warehouse constitutes delivery to the customer.

Customers are reminded that the shipment of goods into another country typically involves the payment of import duties and/or taxes, that these are not included in our pricing, and that their payment is the responsibility of the customer.

Customers are solely responsible to determine the suitability of shipping each ordered product into the destination country.

Shipping and delivery estimates shown in the shopping cart should be interpreted as best case estimates only. Shipment will not be made until the customer passes Bongo fraud screening. In the case of established Bongo customers, we expect the additional time to be inconsequential.

All other terms and conditions applicable to domestic shipments apply to international shipments.

Returns And Refunds

You may return products to us within two weeks of receiving them, provided that you contact us in advance for return authorization.

Under no circumstances will returns be accepted on open consumable products including (but not limited to) food, beverage, fragrance or beauty items.

In all cases returned products must be in saleable condition.

Should the return be the result of a mistake on our part, we will arrange return shipping and promptly either send a replacement at our expense or issue a refund for the full purchase amount including shipping charges.

Should the reason for the return not be our fault, a refund will be made for the merchandise amount only, less a restocking fee of 15% (minimum $5).

Refunds are issued against the original form of payment and are accomplished within ten business days of receipt of the returned merchandise.
