The Brown Betty Teapot
This week we have added the world famous Brown Betty Teapot, reputed to
make the best tea in the world.
The concept dates back to the 17th century. The shape of the Brown
Betty Teapot causes the tea leaves to be gently swirled around when
boiling water is added. They are made of red terra-cotta clay found
only in Stoke-On-Trent in Straffordshire, England. Their special
production method gives the pots and even thickness and smooth finish
inside and out. They are finished with a Rockingham brown glaze.
