Mulled Wine Jelly (Gelefine) by Chateau Virant is made from “vin cuit” a mulled wine typical of the Provence area of France. The ‘vin cuit” is cooked until all of the alcohol evaporates, then sugar and pectin are added.

Featured as part of A Taste of France this month, it is a unique change of pace when spread on toast. It is also a wonderful accompaniment to soft cheeses, white meats and game.
