9 ounces mincemeat

3 tablespoons sugar

1 cup water

2 packages cream cheese -- (small)

1/2 cup ground nuts

There are no directions with this recipe. The only instruction is "cook" after the first three ingredients. I think this means cook the mincemeat, sugar and water for about 3 minutes.

I remember Mama making the sandwiches for parties and they were good.
